Visual Studio Code (VSCode) is a popular code editor that is known for its customizability. You can customize every aspect of VSCode, from its appearance to its functionality, to suit your own preferences.

I have spent a lot of time tweaking and fine-tuning my config to create a coding environment that is both comfortable and productive for me, so I want to share my own VSCode config.

1. Theme

I use the Tokyo Night theme. It’s a dark theme with a soft-neon accent color. I find that the dark colors are easier on my eyes, and the soft-neon accent color makes my code more readable.

2. Font

I use the Dank Mono font. It’s a monospace font with ligatures, which makes my code more readable at a glance.

3. Icons

I use the Material Icon. It’s a set of icons that are inspired by Google's Material Design. I find the icons to be clear and concise, and they help me to quickly identify the different features of VSCode.

Conclusion

It feels very comfortable in terms of visual icons, fonts, and theme colors. I am also able to be very productive in my coding environment.
